The Learning Advantage provides math help for elementary students, grades Pre-Kindergarten through 6th grade.
Whether it's to catch up, keep up, or get ahead, our approach to teaching math is sequential, logical and focused on the important skills needed across all grades. This allows students to "ladder" their learning, actively building new knowledge from experience and prior knowledge.
Our elementary math program covers these grade-appropriate skills:

Your child may have already learned some of these skills or may not be ready for others. Not to worry. The initial diagnostic assessment uncovers the specific math help your child needs. We are then able to target exactly what skills are giving your child the most difficulty and fill in those "skill gaps" until they are mastered.
We work to improve your child's attitude toward math and make the "impossible" possible. You'll see results through regular progress updates with your child's classroom teacher as well as improved grades. Our elementary math tutoring is designed on Principles and Standards for School Mathematics, developed by the National Council of Teachers of Mathematics.
